At AP Performance Horses, we are passionate about developing horses and riders, gaining valuable experience, and making the most of every opportunity to learn and improve. We attend a range of equestrian events throughout the year, giving our horses and riders the chance to build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy everything the equestrian world has to offer.

Showjumping Days

We attend showjumping competitions to put our training into practice, challenge ourselves over different courses and build confidence in the arena. These days are all about improving accuracy, rhythm, technique and partnership between horse and rider, while gaining valuable competition experience and working towards our goals.

Training Days

Our training days focus on improving the basics, developing consistency and strengthening the connection between horse and rider. We work on flatwork, fitness, responsiveness, technique and confidence, tailoring each session to the individual horse's needs and stage of development. Every training day is an opportunity to learn something new and continue progressing.

Agricultural Shows

We enjoy attending agricultural shows and being involved in the wider equestrian community. These events provide fantastic opportunities to showcase our horses, gain experience in new environments, meet fellow horse enthusiasts and enjoy the atmosphere of a busy showground. They are also a great way to expose our horses to different surroundings and build their confidence.

Cross-Country (XC) Clinics

Our cross-country clinics are all about building confidence, improving technique and developing a safe, positive approach to cross-country riding. We work on approaching different types of fences, maintaining rhythm and balance, riding lines and improving communication between horse and rider. These clinics allow us to challenge ourselves, learn from experienced coaches and continue developing our skills in a supportive environment.
